Our Southern Ocean crossing from Stanley to South Georgia Island would take approximately 60 hours. We had sunny skies, relatively smooth seas, and light tailwinds to speed us on the way. Sea birds were always visible from the ship, and capturing them in flight was a good way to while away some of the hours at sea.
