Fisherman Cabin at Ovenell's

Fisherman Cabin at Ovenell's

Our portal to the North Cascades National Park in Washington was the small town of Concrete. Our cabin at Ovenell's Heritage Inn and Log Cabins was just the right combination of location and ambiance. Concrete's facilities supplied the concrete needed for three massive dams upstream on the Skagit River, forming the Gorge, Diablo and Ross Lakes. These three lakes form the core of today's Ross Lake National Recreation Area, that bisects North Cascades National Park.
