Our trip to South Georgia Island and the Falkland Islands was cancelled in 2021 due to the Covid pandemic, and the updated itinerary in 2022 was not acceptable to us, so we cancelled again. They say that "third time is the charm" and we felt lucky to book on a two-week cruise in October, 2023, with a photography tour group just going to South Georgia Island. Our friends Renata and John Harbison were with us each step of the way on this travel roller coaster ride.
