After dinner we took a short hike on the North Kaibab Trail from Phantom Ranch into "The Box," the narrow section of canyon carved by the Bright Angel Creek as it descends to the Colorado River. There are nine bridges along the North Kaibab Trail between Phantom Ranch and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This is the second bridge if you start at Phantom Ranch.
