This trip was organized by Off the Beaten Path. We had a group of fifteen with two guides, Mike Link and Kate Crowley (husband and wife). Our meet-up was in Duluth, Minnesota, on July 18. We quickly transitioned to Wisconsin and then Michigan, along the shore of Lake Superior. On trip day 3 we took the ferry to Isle Royale, the largest island in Lake Superior and a unique wilderness area National Park.
