Cascades on the Mitchell River

Cascades on the Mitchell River

The Mitchell River flows through the Mitchell River National Park in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. It is not navigable very far inland from its mouth on Walmsley Bay of the Indian Ocean. To reach the river's best known feature, Mitchel Falls, we are going by helicopter.
