Our trip started with the long flight (~14 hours) from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia. After an overnight stay at the Sydney airport, we took a domestic flight to Darwin. The central interior of Australia is sometimes called "the red center," and the following series of photos taken from the plane will support that nickname.
