Always special to return to Denali National Park! We arrived at the park on August 25 and flew to reach Camp Denali on August 26, departing on September 2, 2022. The wildlife of Denali spreads out far and wide, so it is a treat to spot them from the park road. No sightings are guaranteed, and the animals were often out-of-range for my telephoto lens, or even binoculars. The failure of the focus mechanism of my lens on the first day in the park made animal photography especially challenging. But this is a small collection of images that captures some of the iconic Denali National Park wildlife with beautiful fall colors.
